According to the magazine’s December 2013 issue, manufacturers from different categories are invited “to enter their latest offerings in the annual Record Products competition” where jurors from leading design firms in the US choose the best products. This year’s jurors included:

SuperSecure II-XLS is the first clear, fire resistive security glazing that combines forced-entry security with temperature-rise fire protection meeting ASTM E-119/UL 263/NFPA 251 with hose stream up to 2 hours. SuperSecure II-XLS meets both ASTM F1915 Grade 1-3 and CDCR (California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation) Class A requirements for forced entry. Using SuperLite II-XL as the basis of design, SuperSecure II-XLS is available in dramatically large sizes compared to the antiquated wired glass versions that correction facilities settled for in the past. This product is proudly made in the USA and comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.
