SAFTI FIRST launches mySAFTI App. Works for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android. It’s an interactive design tool that takes the guesswork out of choosing the correct fire rated glass product.

SAFTIFIRST Launches mySAFTI App for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad

SAFTIFIRST in San Francisco has released the mySAFTI app, an interactive design tool that the company says “takes the guesswork out of choosing the correct fire rated glass product.”

Architects, specifiers and glazing professionals can quickly use their iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to make their selection based on fire rating or application, according to the company.  In addition, the app allows users to view product data, size charts, save favorites and request information via e-mail.

“We understand that architects, specifiers and glazing contractors are busy professionals who are always on the go, and have come to rely on their mobile devices for numerous things,” says William O’Keeffe, president and chief executive officer of SAFTI FIRST.  “We are happy to provide this free app that enables them to easily select the correct fire-rated glass product anytime and anywhere.”

SAFTIFIRST reports that Android smartphone and tablet users can now download the free mySAFTI app directly onto their devices by typing “mysafti” in the Android Market’s search bar.

The mySAFTI app allows users to search for the correct fire-rated glazing product based on fire ratings (20 to 180 minutes) or applications (doors, walls or openings). Users can also view product fact sheets, size charts, request information or view selected project photos for additional design inspiration.
