BRISBANE, CA (March 6, 2018) – SAFTI FIRST®, leading USA-manufacturer of advanced fire rated glass and framing systems, is pleased to present its educational program “Fire Door Requirements & Sprinkler Exceptions” at the 2018 DHI conNextions Conference in Baltimore, MD. This program is part of the Technical Track and eligible for 2 DHI CEU credits. Jim Kavalec, Director of Sales for SAFTI FIRST®’s Door Division, will be presenting this program on Thursday, May 10 at 11:00 am. SAFTI FIRST® will also be displaying their complete line of USA-made fire rated glazing products at Booth 534.

Jim Kavalec joined SAFTI FIRST® in 2017 as the Director of Sales for the Door Division. In this role, he helps door manufacturers and suppliers understand the code requirements for fire rated glazing in doors so that they can be empowered to choose the correct and code-approved product. He is an active member of DHI and recently completed the DHI Fall Technical School last October. Jim is an energetic and enthusiastic professional who is looking forward to helping door suppliers with all of their fire rated glazing needs.
