SAFTI FIRST®‘s FIRE RATED GLASS WALLS FEATURED IN NEWS REPORT ON PORSCHE DESIGN TOWER
BRISBANE, CA (July 17, 2015) –SAFTI FIRST®, leading USA-manufacturer of fire rated glass and framing systems, was part of a CBS Miami broadcast covering the much anticipated Porsche Design Tower in Sunny Isles Beach, FL. One of main features of this luxurious residence is a glass elevator that takes you and your car up to your condo unit. Residents are also able to view their cars from their unit through a transparent wall.
To meet fire rating code requirements, SAFTI FIRST® provided a segmented, 2-hour glass wall using SuperLite II-XL 120 in GPX Architectural Series Framing to enclose the elevators. The 2-hour segmented wall can be seen from lobby and spans several levels.
SAFTI FIRST® also provided 2-hour walls using SuperLite II-XL 120 in GPX Architectural Series Framing to create a fire rated separation between the living space and garage where the cars will be parked. The 2-hour wall is available in all of the units at Porsche Design Tower so that residents can see their cars from the living space.
